What is Amazon Kinesis?

Amazon Kinesis is a platform for streaming data on AWS, offering services to collect, process, and analyze real-time streaming data. It includes Kinesis Data Streams for capturing gigabytes of data per second from hundreds of thousands of sources, Kinesis Data Firehose for loading streaming data into data lakes and analytics services, Kinesis Data Analytics for processing streams using SQL or Apache Flink, and Kinesis Video Streams for streaming video from devices. Kinesis enables real-time analytics, log and event data collection, IoT device data processing, and clickstream analytics. It automatically scales to match data throughput and provides durable storage with data replication across multiple Availability Zones.
